So Much Is Happening

While I Am Taking A Rest

So much is happening in Canada, so much that I have turned off the news. I have decided to not get involved and sit back and see what happens.

Since the beginning of the Pandemic, I remember the family gatherings, the get togethers where many got along. Many did not judge or argue or go for long periods without talking.

I have seen families destroyed, not talk at all. Children not seeing their grandparents or aunts and uncles.

The biggest fear of all is what everything that is going on in the world, is doing for those who already suffer from germ aphobia.

Germ aphobia is so real, now with those who fear becoming ill. Cannot clean enough, or wash enough.

Then the children are in school, out of school. Friendships ruined or the inibility to get together and be children and have fun. Real fun, running and playing together and not feeling the social distance.

Then the social anxiety.

The fear of being near or with others. Those who suffer it and trying to heal this period of life has been more difficult then ever. Learning to overcome there fears, gaining confidence is hard to do.

So Why Do I Sit Here

To be honest in a way I have decided to choose just recently. just to sit back and listen. Not decide but listen.

I have done things myself that I wish now I did not do. To leave my eyes and mind wide open and learn what others have to say. Not taking everyone or everything happen to heart.

When it comes to my own family I will always be overly protective. Thats what moms do. I do know for my adult children. I really need boundaries and stop over thinking when it comes to their lives. I will worry about them forever and to be honest that worry is not always healthy.

Believing they have the tools and the wisdom to do what they feel best in life is so important.

The last years of life, the retirement years I hope to learn more. Experience more and especially with my husband.

Not worry as much as I always do and live. Yes live life to the fullest, because living is the most prescious gift of all.

The best feeling in the world is putting my feet on the floor and waking up every single day. The scent of fresh coffee and the joy of spending a day with my husband or creating something new and exciting.

Not to forget the joy of writing. Poetry was my first writing passion, I journal every day but I also write in several different genres.

Today I am writing to you from the heart. Enjoy your life even for the little things.

Life can be beautiful if you let it.

Breathe, never stop believing in all the goodness.
