Has the world of social media become a big part of your life? Do you personally believe the majority of things you read in the Daily Magazines?

Today I was reading an article written on facebook, which I thought should be something of facts not fiction. After reading it. I literally asked from one writer to another, where did you get the information for this article?

I found out I wasn’t the only one that felt that way. After posting what I wrote, several started asking for the content of the story.

Facts first, before assuming anything in life.

Its like the game where one person will say something, whisper it into one persons ear, than the next does the same and so on. I can garantee that by the time the last person hears it, its not actually near what the first person said.

Its not something we do not already know, yet many that assume and share, can hurt someone badly.

Another way to look at this is if you were to share something on social media, because you were interested in the article. Not because it has anything to do with you, but the stories that are told from that post can be assumed as something else.

I personally wrote an artical for a magazine a few years back, I told a perspective individual in the community about it and they read it. I was shocked with the remark, you have to live with that the rest of your life. You better be careful.

I on the other hand was proud of my writing. I knew from my writing it would help so many people all over the world.

Another is recently I learned people look at your Facebook, especially if you are on everyday. From checking the Facebook they assume if you are not well, well or something isnt right. I can understand that in my case, I use the social media to help with my two small businesses. Yet there are days that its nice to slip away and do something else.

When I was growing up there was a wonderful lady in our community. After going to her hairdressers she would tell the whole neighbourhood what she heard while getting her hair done. Often many of the stories were not accurate, but you wondered even then how the communications were twisted and turned.

If a couple was to seperate, thats between them. Another is if a couple is having a baby, that is up to them to share it.

Nothing but gossip, not facts but to assume. So if you hear something, read something ask questions if it is so important to you, before you repeat it or believe it yourself. Trust me our world would be such a better place to live in and people wouldnt just want to hide in their homes, for fear of what others think.

There are so many things to see and do, why not that. Than you can write or share your true facts about your life and the way you hope others will see it and understand.

We all know what assume means.
