Expressions From The Heart

During the pandemic and over the holidays ,I have found it difficult to cope. I am not use to being locked down, not out and about and boy do I ever miss my good friends.

I am realizing that it is like when I grew up and how we really knew the true meaning of family. Yet there are times we are so far apart that the only connection that we have is social media or the phone.

I am missing going out for lunch or a coffee with my really good friends. Sitting and hearing stories about their grandchildren or how they were knitting or sewing, making something new.

Socializing has a whole new meaning and its difficult. I miss so much and yet I have so much right here in the comfort of my home.

Do Not Have To Go Far

So I have started a list of what is my passion. Of course love will always be my passion, but in a creative and fun way.

Structure is very important to me, and I know I have to start living my life doing the same thing in order to get up and go.

Loving my crafts and activities , taking walks around the area I live in and just enjoying what I have and not focusing on what I do not have ,is so important.

Avoiding the negative social media and engaging in the positives.

Listening to music and dancing daily.

Getting Crafty And Baking

Taking on a new task this year and looking forward to it. I am going to bake cookies for Valentines, also maybe some chocolates.

I have not always been a great baker so I have decided to try something new and learn now. Being old does not mean you cannot learn something new.

New and fun. Using my shortbread recipe-icening sugar, flour, creamy butter, cornstarch I am going to make some really pretty heart shaped cookies to give out to family and friends.

Chocolate candy will be something I have never done before but I am looking forward to giving it a try. I am thinking of some really neat suckers. I seen some neat moulds on the internet ,so I am going to order them and give it a try.

We all love chocolate, right………….

Passion always comes from the heart.

Even if you and I are apart.

Start making a list of things you like to do.

Like making a crock pot of stew.

Life is gift we should love and have fun.

Engaging simple things like laying in the sun.

What is your passion…….

Looking forward to hearing. Please send me a message at
