Who Is Watching The Coronation?

From media to media, to headlines everywhere. I, for one, may or may not watch the Coronation. Regarding that statement, I genuinely feel that way too much money is being spent on an event that could be done in a Church and later followed in the castle.

I also feel that from years of singing God Save Our Gracious Queen to watching and listening to Queen Elizabeth’s speeches; I genuinely don’t think my compassion for Queen Elizabeth will ever be that way for Charles.

To respect a man who married our gracious Princess Diana, had two beautiful children, and still kept his affair going makes no sense to me how he can be King.

Now, I know many will say too. As Princess Diana stated, my response would be that there were always three in the marriage. Why? (Infidelity)

The other is I cannot even call King Charles’s wife, Queen. I cannot even look at her as a queen.

As old school as I may be and listening and watching the articles on The Firm, I concluded that the Royal family is less of a family and more of a business.

I have also stopped reading the tabloids about members of the family. Honestly, I have gotten so tired of the way so much hate and anger is shared.

I have enjoyed watching the Queen, the Royal family, and weddings for many years.

Getting up in the wee hours of the morning to watch the beautiful and exciting weddings. (they were like fairytales)

Yet when Princess Diana (the same age as me) passed away in such a terrible, tragic accident. I ultimately went numb.

The idea of all of the media around the vehicle, of always wondering what happened to her.

Then, Prince Harry marries the beautiful woman he loves and adores, the mother of his children — all of the negativity around the couple, and good for them for speaking out. Prince Harry’s wife was never really welcomed.

Again, the business. (Or was it?)

I do wish King Charles all the best, as this is what Queen Elizabeth hoped for her son to become. “The King.”

I may get up and watch a few updates throughout the day. I know many will differ from me. Thats okay.

I was looking back at how young Queen Elizabeth was when she became Queen; there were too many things both Queen and her sister had to go through (growing up way too fast). It makes me think of the Queen’s ceremony and the cost versus that of King Charles’s Coronation.

In a world where people live in the streets, the cost of living is so high. Celebrating the King is lovely, but can you imagine as a business what that money could be going towards?

Lots of what if’s to think about here.
